Papou’s Diner

Responsive Web - UX/UI

Papou’s Diner is a branding and responsive website project that reimagines the fusion of classic American diner culture with authentic Greek cuisine. The design challenge was to create a cohesive identity that honors both cultural influences while appealing to a contemporary audience. Inspired by Greek American diner heritage, the name “Papou,” meaning grandfather, establishes a warm and personal foundation. The primary target audience includes college students drawn to the diner’s 24-hour availability, along with families and young professionals who appreciate nostalgic dining experiences. The branding draws from 1950s diner aesthetics using bright colors, checkered patterns, star motifs, and retro typography, paired with subtle Greek influences. The website extends this identity through responsive design and clear navigation.
